Faculty Artist Series | Celebrating 40 Years: George Taylor in Recital with the Gateways Chamber Players

Gateways Music Festival and the Eastman School of Music celebrate violist George Taylor’s 40 years at Eastman with a moving tribute to his artistry, mentorship, and enduring impact. Joined by the Gateways Chamber Players—Diane Monroe and Kyle Lombard, violin; Juliet White-Smith, viola; Alvin McCall and Tahirah Whittington, cello; and pianist Dianna White-Gould—Taylor performs music of deep personal significance by Diane Monroe, Eric Kivnick, George Walker, J.S. Bach, and Johannes Brahms. Students, faculty, and the Rochester community will gather to honor a beloved teacher and artist at this remarkable career milestone. Tickets are just $10.
